New Look, New Website

Posted by Marcus Falay on March 18, 2010

We have just launched our new website last week. Surely there is still a lot of work to do. We have not yet fully uploaded our Special Interest Tours and some of the past itineraries. We will have our new web as a live and ever-active site where there will e updates and new information will be flowing in. So, we would ask you to bear with us during this time and make sure to contact us at ant time with any questions you may have about our site, products or traveling to Turkey.

Like our new web site, we also have a new look, new logo. Due to many enquiries and tours currently being organised, we anticipate that the change over of the web content and other details will be a slow process.

Last week, we were at the Sydney Travel Expo, at The Dome in Olypic Park, Homebush. We have handed our many brochures and flyers. We are also showcasing our products at the next events as follows:

Melbourne Turkish Day Festival at Victoria Market on 28 March 2010.
Melbourne Travel Expo at the Royal Exhibition Building, 10-11 April 2010.
Brisbane Travel Exo at the Brisbane Exhibition & Convention Centre, 16-17-18 April 2010.

Finally, in this post, I would like to mention that we are currently accepting 'expressions of interest' for:

May 2011, Turkey Cook's Tour.
This a brand new tour, where we will take a max of 15 passengers. The tour will be a special one and every traveller will recieve their very own Turkey Tour & Cook Book, personalised to their name.

2015 Epic Cruise to Gallipoli on Anzac Day 2010, 100th year anniversary.
We are conracting a cruise ship to sail from Istanbul to Anzac Cove on 25 April 2015. The cruise will get to Anzac Cove by Dawn on 25 April 2015 to attend the 100th year anniversay Dawn Service. We then plan to cruise for 10 days in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean and Mediterranean. Visits will include Athens, Greek Islands and the legendary ancient city of Ephesus of Asia Minor.

2011 Turkey Art's Tour
This is another initiative by Fairy Chimneys Travel. This tour, like the Turkey Walk and Turkey Cook's Tour, will be a special interest tour, where we will take a max of 15 passengers. The tour will incorporate ancient art from Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman Empires. We will also taste a nice blend from the ancient to more contemporary, modern art of today's Turkey. Tour will be most likely headed by a well known Poet who mainly writes on Turkey.

We welcome 'expressions of interest' by email to info@fairychimneys.com.au or by phone (local call) 1300 766 595.

Thank you for your interest. Until our next blog and post, happy browsing and happy travels.

Your sincerely,

Marcus Falay
