Zagreb - Private Luxury Tour


Day 1

Upon your arrival at Zagreb Airport, your driver will welcome and escort you to your hotel in Zagreb. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.


Day 2

After breakfast, we sightsee Croatia’s capital, Zagreb, with a visit to the highlights of the old town (Church of St. Mark, Cathedral, Parliament, Ban Jelačić Square etc.).

Rovinj - Private Luxury Tour


Day 3

In the morning we drive to Lake Bled, the surreal image of the church at its center your focus. We then drive deeper into the Julian Alps to explore another Alpine pearl, Bohinj, including a cable car ride to Mt. Vogel. In the evening, transfer to Ljubljana.


Day 4

This morning we drive to Postojna to visit the number 1 attraction in Slovenia: the 21km-long Postojna Cave. We then drive to see Predjama Castle built in front of the cave, 120 meters above the river. Continue to Croatia to visit Istria and its picturesque hilltop town, Grožnjan. Then travel on to the romantic Croatian town of Rovinj, one of the best kept towns on the Adriatic Coast.

Day 5

This morning we will start with the tour of Istria, visiting the Euphrasian Basilica in Poreč and the Roman ampitheater of Pula. Drive inland with a stop at the town of Opatija, where you will have the opportunity to walk along the centuries old famous Franz Joseph I Promenade, better known as the Lungomare, a coastal footpath that stretches from Volosko to Lovran.


Day 6

Your next stop is Rastoke, the historic center of the municipality of Slunj, situated on the banks of the Slunjcica River which cascades down into the Korana River via a series of waterfalls. The river originates at Plitvice Lakes, and similar colourful natural phenomena occur here. We then go to the UNESCO-protected Plitivce Lakes, where 16 stunning turquoise lakes and 92 waterfalls form one of the most magnificent sights in the world.

Day 7

You will have free time to explore the Plitvice Lakes National Park. All trails in the national park are well marked so it's difficult to get lost. After your visit to the lakes you will drive to the walled city of Zadar, former capital. Afternoon sightseeing tour of this splendid city to admire the Sea Organs, St. Donatus, St. Anastasia and the ancient Roman Forum. Continue to the town of Sibenik where you'll visit the St Jacob's Cathedral followed by a drive to Primošten, one of the most famous and picturesque small towns on the Adriatic. Explore the stone houses, churches, narrow alleys and lanes around the town’s old walls representing the perfect harmony between past and present, before making your way to the city of Split, Croatia's second largest city, located in the heart of the Dalmatian coast.


Day 8

In the morning we will continue with a visit of the renaissance town of Trogir (also a UNESCO site) and the island of Čiovo. Admire the famous Cathedral of St. Lawrence and the impressive surrounding walls surrounding old town. In the evening we return to Split to for a guided tour of the old town to explore Diocletians Palace, the Cathedral of St Duje and the Temple of Jupiter.

Mostar and Dalmatian Hinterland Tour

Day 9

The day starts with a coastal drive south past the seaside villages and the estuary town of Omis seeing the full beauty of the Dalmatian Coast. You'll take a tunnel road through the Biokovo massif into the Dalmatian hinterland driving alongside the Dinaric Mountain Range, seeing the hillside villages and hearing about the rural lifestyle. Your destination is the very authentic town of Imotski, where you'll see the Red & Blue Lakes. The lakes resulted from irregular limestone where centuries of erosion and underground streams and caverns formed these karst sinkholes. The Red Lake, a subterranean lake, stands out with it's iron oxide limestone cliff faces which encompass it. The Bue Lake has several viewpoints and a walkway down to it for keen swimmers. The tour continues with a stroll to the 17th century Topana fort and town center which is built from limestone blocks making it absolutely unique. To take in the full flavour of the local ambience you can have lunch at a 300 year old mill converted into a family run tavern a short distance away. Next to the tavern there is the village bridge over the Vrljika stream with brown trout, ducks and weather permitting meals are served besides the stream under a willow tree. All the meals are homemade as are the brandies, wines, olive oil and the organically grown season vegetables are picked in front of you. The owner in his mid 40-ies is a 1990's Croatian Homeland War veteran and you'll meet him, his wife and 4 children who all work there. One of the specialties is a traditional roast known as the 'Peka' and you'll see it being made. Here's a traditional meal:

Starter: homemade prosciutto, pancetta, cheese, olives, seasonal salad & home baked bread.

Main meal: traditional veal roast & potatoes under the iron dome known as the 'Peka'. Can also choose from lamb, pork or chicken. You see it being prepared.


Day 10

Catamaran Depart Split 09:15am - Arrive Hvar 10:20am.

In the morning we will take a Catamaran to the island of Hvar which is one of the most famous along the Dalmatian coast. Upon arrival to Hvar, we will visit Stari Grad. In the afternoon head to Hvar town to visit one of best protected towns on the Dalmatian islands on a walking tour through this charming town. Hvar is a historic icon with palatial Gothic buildings and evocative marbled streets that hark back to a different age.

Day 11

Catamaran Depart Hvar 10:30am - Arrive Korcula 11:55am.

Today we take a ferry to Korcula and enjoy a guided tour of Korcula town.


Day 12

Boat transfer across to the Peljesac peninsula to the town of Orebic for a picturesque drive along the Peljesac peninsula stopping at local family run winery for wine tasting. You'll then continue to the medieval walled town of Ston. It's walls were built in the 16th century and at that time were the second longest defense walls in the world after the Great Wall of China! You can walk part of the walls, see the ancient Roman salt flats and stroll through the cobbled streets of the town. Ston is the oyster and mussels capital of Croatia and the restaurants & taverns specialise in the local cuisine and predominate zinfandel wines. There are excellent local taverns along the way where you can try the local cuisine.

Day 13

A coastal drive south by the Konavle Valley to the picturesque seaside town of Cavtat. In the 4th Century it began as a Greek settlement called Epidaurus, then later a Roman colony and emerged into a significant seafaring stronghold. You'll walk the limestone paved streets, squares, charming seaside promenade and see the villas & local houses and hear all about it's history & customs. Cavtat was directly affected in the early 1990's war and you'll get a better understanding of that period. You'll have the option of walking up to the Racic Family mausoleum. The tour continues with the drive back towards Dubrovnik making a slight detour to the Srdj hill top which overlooks Dubrovnik the Dalmatian Coast & nearby islands. All this is a build up for the walking tour of Dubrovnik's Old Town seeing all the sights.


Day 14

After breakfast we take a day tour to Montenegro. Visit of the biggest fjord in Adriatic, Boka Kotorska, and continue to Kotor (also a UNESCO-protected site), with a more than 5km long wall surrounding it. Continue on a spectacular road towards Njeguši. A visit of the old Royal capital, Cetinje, precedes a descent to the coast near Budva – the biggest coastal resort of Montenegro. In the evening, we return to Dubrovnik.


Day 15

Breakfast, check-out and transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for departing flight.
