Charting a course for Gallipoli 2015

Fairy Chimneys Travel Turkey tours are always a popular attraction at the Sydney Holiday and Travel show. But this year was special. Following a successful launch in Melbourne, Gallipoli-2015 took pride of place at the Fairy Chimneys Travel stand.

With a reputation for boutique tours and authentic Turkey travel, Fairy Chimneys Travel ANZAC centenary tours have been much anticipated. And there were no disappointments. Indeed, over 2,000+ individuals have pre-registered their interest.

Sydneysiders showed strong interest in the 10 day Gallipoli-2015 Epic Cruise. There was also much discussion about the Luxury Coach tour and Premium Bus tour products. Many show registrations were received for first booking opportunity when the tour goes on public sale this week.

Interestingly, the Sydney Holiday and Travel show took place over the same days Royal Marines landed at Kum Kale on the mainland and at Sedd-el-Bahr at Gallpoli in 1915. These campaign developments, other Gallipoli history and human interest stories will be shared by Gallipoli experts and Anzac Peace Prize winner Dr John V Basarin during the Gallipoli-2015 cruise.

Of course, the month of ANZAC is almost upon us and this time of year tends to motivate Australians to consider visiting Gallipoli. With the ANZAC landing centenary just three years away, it's no surprise Australian travellers are choosing to share a place in history, and booking Gallipoli-2015 travel now.
