Photography Tour of Turkey and Gallipoli, especially designed for photographers. The tour is headed by Award Winning Photographer Michael Silver and Gallipoli Expert, Author and Historian Dr John Basarin. The program is carefully designed to introduce Turkey with her rich and authentic cuisine, history and amazing landmarks that a photo enthusiast will rarely find such a combination. We will also attend the Dawn Service on the 97th anniversary of the campaign, where Dr John Basarin will tell the story from the Turkish side. A chance to visit a local studio and stay at boutique hotels with 4 star rating. A professional photographer for over 40 years, Michael Silver worked in newspapers both in Victoria and Western Australia, as well as in Fleet Street, before starting his commercial photography business, Photonet in 1987.

Michael is a member of the MAP Group of photographers whose documentary work includes group projects in several rural towns and a major documentary on the drought that produced the exhibition and best-selling book “Beyond Reasonable Drought”.
