This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel located in resort town of Kusadasi approximately 1.5hrs south along the Aegean coast from Izmir. Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of the site of one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the world, the site of the Temple of Artemis and the ancient city of Ephesus. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the city and stadium where chariot and horse races were once held. You will also have the chance to experience some Turkish handicrafts and to visit the pilgrimage point claimed to be the last home of the Virgin Mary or the antiquities of the Selcuk Museum. Take an optional tour of three fascinating archeological sites of Priene, Miletus and Didyma, shop in the local markets, visit the nearby Ottoman-Greek village of Sirince, trying some of their specialty fruit wines, take an optional day trip to the Greek Island of Samos or spend the day relaxing on an Aegean Beach. This morning we will enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods before heading to the the magnificent white calcium terraces, known as Travertines, in Pamukkale where we also tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip, amongst ancient columns, in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers. Overnight Kusadasi.

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Kayseri. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Cappadocia. Cappadocia is an extraordinary national treasure and is perhaps even the jewel in Turkey's illustrious crown. Overnight Cappadocia.

Today our first stop is Esentepe, followed by a visit to Uchisar Castle. We then trek through Rose Valley to Cavusin, where we stop for lunch and learn about hand-made potteries. Afterwards, we visit the Pasabag Fairy Chimneys, followed by Devrent Valley and Urgup Winery to taste the delicious vines of Cappadocia. Overnight Cappadocia.

Head to Pigeon Valley, followed by Ihlara Valley for a light trek. After visiting the small villages of Selimiye and Yaprakhisar, we visit the scenery where part of the Star Wars Movie was shot. After lunch, we head to Derinkuyu Underground City, the biggest in the region. Overnight Cappadocia.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Istanbul. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
